Swimming The Entire Mississippi River

The Mississippi River, stretching 3885 km, has been crossed by more than just two individuals. Martin Strel, a Slovenian long-distance swimmer, swam the entire river in 68 days in 2002 and holds multiple Guinness World Records for swimming in various rivers including the Mississippi.

Chris Ring, a Navy veteran from America, is also known to have completed the journey by swimming, taking 181 days with a weekly break. These individuals are just two of the many who have successfully navigated the entire length of the Mississippi River.
